I am proud to announce that the first official album of Athconsia is now here! It's a collection of old songs from 2019 to 2021, back from the early days of Athconsia, back when it was just a bunch of ideas, some drawings, not even a page written, and most importantly, a dream. The songs are arranged (roughly, as accurately as I could remember) in the order of their making.

The songs?

Of course, let's not forget a proper list of the songs, along with a little bit of information about each one of them:

1. Fate: My first complete song, made on my grandparents' computer in 2019.
2. Lavender: A song meant to be a battle theme of Cindy's, back when Athconsia was planned to be an RPG. The date of its making was lost due to the copying of the file from a computer to another.
3. Orchard: Originally planned to be some kind of background song for the village Liz lived in. In the meantime, this village turned into the capital city of Athconsia. They grow up so fast!
4. Forest Defender: A song I made while experimenting with VSTs for the first time, meant to be a battle theme for Rey. The guitar is supposed to be played by him, though I doubt he would have enough fingers to do so. The name comes from the initial idea behind the creation of Rey and Mark: to defend the forest Liz was supposed to enter in the old story, back when humans and non-humans were not planned to get along so well. Various retcons later, the forest is now named Tarith, and humans and tarithans now live together.
5. Fried Chips: I made this song about one hour into the New Year's Day of 2020. I did not know whether to place this before Orchard, after Forest Defender, or between them, so I placed it after both, signifying the end of using a digital audio workstation and moving to another.
6. Amethyst: The first song I posted on the internet, in 2020. Maybe it could have something to do with Cindy?
7. Cindy's Potions: A song made with an RPG potion shop in mind.
8. Vanduyre: A song for Robin (though not mainly), a relative of his, the partner in crime of this relative, and something else.
9. Torn Asunder: A song for Robin and himself.
10. Tachyon: A song for Erik.
11. The Dance of the Shadow: Something guards the old castle between Light and Dark.
12. Chaos: Yet another song for Robin.
13. Crash the Party: Another song for the "something else" mentioned earlier, and possibly Robin.
14. Many-Worlds: A song based on a dream I had, with the recurring image of the three pillars.
15. Event Horizon: Rey made this song.
16. Annihilation: Another song for Robin and himself.
17. Utopia: You're not supposed to know this yet.
18. Power Surge: Another song for Rey, originally planned to be canonically made by him. It was supposed to be longer, but it remained incomplete due to a lack of inspiration.
19. Philosopher's Stone: Another song made after yet another DAW change, made for Robin.

Future plans

A dedicated page for music albums will come... eventually. A bigger project is still in the works and another album will come with it!
